WordPress is good to be used for may reasons, but it’s not without its flaws. There are an enamours number of Plugins on WordPress are not safe and can negatively affect your website. As the vast majority of those plugins are:

Out of Date
Bloated
Unsecure
Buggy
Or all of the above

It is very advisable to surely use Premium Plugins, having said that does not mean that all the premium plugins are perfect and you should assume so. Personally, I would recommend that you purchase only from developers that have a solid and well-established reputation.
